Pick up the floors
Clothes, toys, shoes, bags — off the floor. We cannot mop around a minefield. A quick sweep of each room takes minutes and lets us reach every surface.
Clear the counters
Dishes in the sink or dishwasher. Mail in a pile. We wipe counters, not organize them. A clear counter gets a full wipe.
Secure the valuables
Put small valuables away. Not because we are not trusted — because accidents happen. A knocked-over vase ruins everyone’s day.
Tell us the priorities
Guests coming? Say so — we hit the guest bath first. Dog had an accident? Point it out. The plan flexes to your week.
What NOT to do
Do not pre-clean the bath. Do not vacuum first. Do not apologize for the mess — we have seen worse, and we are glad to be here. See what a standard visit includes.
